2016 Journal Entry How to Print a Journal Entry


Welcome to another lesson contained
within the PeopleSoft Journal Entry training module. In this lesson, learn how to print a journal entry. To begin, first recall the Journal ID and
navigate to the Lines page. Click Main Menu, General Ledger, Journals, Journal Entry, Create/Update Journal Entries. Click the Find an Existing Value tab. In the Journal
ID field, change the ‘begins with’ to ‘contains’ and type in the last 6 digits of the ID, for example; Click the Search button. Scroll to the bottom of
the page. Click the Journal ID hyperlink. Click the Lines tab. In the Process box
select Print Journal and click the Process button. Click the Report Manager
hyperlink. The View Reports For screen will open. Click the Administration tab. Once
again, the View Reports For list screen will open. Click the Refresh button multiple times
until the status changes to Posted. Select the applicable PDF report under the Description column and view the report in PDF format. Select the Print option displayed in your
