3 Ways To Launch A Blog For Free In Under An Hour (Even If You Have No Tech Experience)

– Hey there business owners, entrepreneurs and freelancers, Nishi
here with another fast and exciting social media
marketing tip for you. Today I wanna talk about
something very exciting, about launching a blog, okay? This is very daunting for some of you. But what if I told you, what if I told you that you could start a
brand new blog in less than an hour for free, for no money? Many of your excuses are gonna
go out the window, right? So here are three very
powerful and very reputable platforms that you can use today to launch a new blog for
no money in under an hour. And I don’t care how
tech un-savvy you are. Anyone can do this, it’s super easy. Okay number one, check out LinkedIn. I am appalled, appalled at
how many people don’t know that LinkedIn has a built
in blogging feature. It’s already in there, you
don’t have to do anything. If you have a free LinkedIn account, then you already have access
to this very powerful medium. You don’t have to upgrade
and spend any money. You don’t have to get a
platinum account on LinkedIn. Everyone has access to this. So number one get a free LinkedIn account and if you don’t already have one, and under your profile in your stream, under your picture where
it says Write A Post, underneath you’ll see it
says Write An Article. If you can click on that you
can start blogging right away. And this is particularly
good if number one you already sort of a
presence on LinkedIn. You’ve got some connections already going. And so you’ve already
got a built-in audience. If you don’t but you wanna
grow an audience on LinkedIn, then blogging using their native platform is a very good way to start growing your audience on LinkedIn. If anyone checks out
your profile on LinkedIn which they might do if
they’re searching you or Googling your name
or on LinkedIn already and doing a search on you
and your company or whatever. All your articles will show
up in your profile nice and neat and orderly so
they can background check you very quickly and see what you’ve been up to and what you’ve been writing. So LinkedIn is a very good platform to use if you haven’t started blogging. And it’s very easy like
I said, it’s very basic and it’s like using a word processor, it’s less complicated in Word. So if you can use Word, you
can use the LinkedIn platform. That’s number one, number two is Medium. Medium is even more simple and basic to use than LinkedIn. You do have to sign up for it, medium.com. It’s already, again, it’s
got its own audience sort of built in with it because a lot of other writers are using it. So it’s a great way to
check out other influencers who are blogging and also get
your blog in front of them. So you can, it’s a good
way to curate content that you would be interested in. You can specify I’m
interested in these industries and these kinds of writers. And they would do the same thing for you and hopefully you’ll come
up in their streams as well. So medium is free to start using and again comes up with
its own audience built in. But also it’s very easy
to share on social media, various social media platforms so it’s good at leveraging
any social media audiences that you may already
have, and it’s also good for growing your audience on Facebook, Twitter, all different kinds of platforms. So that’s number two, Medium. And number three is WordPress. Now you’ve likely heard
of WordPress because it’s a very powerful blogging platform, a very powerful website platform, but there are actually two versions of WordPress that you may
or may not be aware of. So there’s WordPress.com
and WordPress.org. WordPress.org is very good
if you’re into something very powerful and sophisticated,
search-engine optimized and you wanna integrate
your blog with your website. So you’ve likely heard of it because of all these great reasons. But let’s say you wanna just get started. Like I said I promised it
was fast and easy and cheap. So go to WordPress.com if
you don’t have anything going online right now and
you can start using one of their many templates for free. You can get a free URL. You can start blogging right away. Again, it’s not much more complicated, it’s not more complicated than using a word processor like Microsoft Word. You can get started right
away within an hour. You can embed pictures,
you can embed videos. It’s super easy to use and the nice thing about it is if down the road you want to upgrade and build a
full-fledged full-on website, then you have that option. If you wanna add plugins,
you have that option. If you wanna get a customized URL which I recommend doing right away, it costs 20, $25 a year,
not a month, a year to get your own domain and get everything
registered on WordPress. Super easy to do, so you have that option of going further with it down the road, you don’t have to move
your cheapy blog onto a nice blog later on down the road. If you’re planning to grow eventually, WordPress is a good
platform to get started on. So that’s it for today,
three super easy platforms that are easy to launch and fast to launch a blog on, today within an
hour you can get started. Number one LinkedIn. Number two Medium, and
number three WordPress. Hope you found that useful. If you did, hit Subscribe, give me a like, give me a comment, be so grateful. Until next time, take care.
