Changing “From” or Outgoing Email Settings in Vanilla Forums


Once you are ready with your Vanilla Community you are going to want to modify your outgoing email settings. The reason that
you’re gonna change this is the email you used to sign up to
create your Vanilla Forums account is the email that will be used for
outgoing emails for notifications of for confirmations of
registration of your members in your community to change the outgoing email it’s really
simple. All you do is scroll down to the bottom have your community to where it says
outgoing email under settings when you land on this
page you’re going to the default information you inputted when you signed up what you can do is change the email address to something more appropriate for people from your community to get.
For example, you can change to “support” or “no reply” whatever you think is best
suited to your community and click save all. Now all the emails going out from your community will be with the email you’ve now added to your outgoing email in Vanilla Forums. Hopefully you found this
