How To Add Sitemap In Vanilla Forums?

Once you have your community up and running with Vanilla Forums, you might want to add a sitemap so that Google can crawl your site even easier. Please note that Vanilla is structured in a way that makes it really easy for search engines to crawl the site with easy-to-read links and it’s very accessible for any search
engines to crawl. We also know it’s recommended by Google for you to add a sitemap, so we
have done this with a plugin. First thing to do will be to go to the dashboard. Go to the browse add-on section and look for something called “Sitemap”. Click enable.
Once enabled go to settings and take a look and as you can see here you now have a site
map which is located here. Just place the URL into your Google Webmaster tools. If you click on the link, you’ll see that it has a complete and total site map
properly formatted with all the elements and all the categories on your site. This makes it even easy for Google to your
crawl your community. That’s all you need to know about sitemaps. If you are hosted Vanilla Customer and need support, contact us at vanillaforums.com/help.
