How to connect Blogger website to Cloudflare

Hello guys it’s Ekemini Robert from
Electronics Diary and I’m going to share how to connect your Blogger website to Cloudflare
that I think is easy but we’re going to help you avoid some potholes
that people don’t quite see while connecting the Blogger website to Cloudflare alright let’s begin so first you need to
log on to CloudFlare and once you get there you need to sign up if you’ve signed
up already you need to login and then click on add site once you do
that you enter your blogger website URL right here right enter your blogger
website’s URL right here and then click on add site once you click on add site
what you need to do is you wait for Cloudflare to do the job do the rest of
the job okay so once you’re done you click on next
okay here you need to choose a plan it’s advisable that you choose a paid plan
but if you’re not ready for that yet you you could just go with a free plan and just about when that is going on you
need to go to intodns.com here we could check look at the report okay right now we
have the nameserver records still on freenom okay freenom so click on
continue now we need to replace nameserver records all right we copy this first go to your registrar it may not be freenom it could be namecheap or whatever
registrar you are using okay use custom nameserver records all right both of
them right there you see both of them and then change
nameservers okay this looks quite easy
all right changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect and this is where you
need to be very careful once you make namesever changes if you feel the
need to like take your website off CloudFlare you need to wait for… it’ll take
about 2 days to make sure everything is is well set before you can think of
moving or disconnecting your website from Cloudflare because if you make a
mistake with this you could get up to 2 days or a day of downtime which is
something you do not need ok so we need to see if changes are complete so we
were on freenom.com right nameservers were on freenom.com once they are
changed all right “arrnold” click on continue okay it may take up to
24 hours to process this change alright but since intoDNS has told us that
the change is complete we can go ahead and click on recheck now once you click
on that all you need to do next is to check your email so once it’s done you
get an email so this is the email “Status Active” and you’re done let’s try to visit
the website the website ok so Cloudflare
gives you more protection and a faster website because it helps you minify
javascript and CSS with other services but just before you go there is
something you need to know once you connect your website to Cloudflare if
you try to visit your previous name say that that that .blogspot.com you will get this error message this is
something you do not want so in the next video I will show you how to get rid of
this message so you can have your blogger website working on Cloudflare
and redirecting properly alright that’s it you can follow the link in the
description to see the full article at electronicsdiary.com Thank you for
watching see in the next video
