How to Embed a Vuzit Document into Your Blog or Web Site

Hello everyone. In this demonstration I’m
going to show everyone how to use Vuzit to embed an electronic document into your blogg
or website. The 1st step is to create yourself an account. You can do that by clicking on
the Pricing page. Then go ahead and choose yourself a basic plan and fill in your contact
information. In this case I already have an account so I’m going to go ahead and sign
myself in. Click on the Account Sign In button. Put in my Contact information. Now I’m going
to use the dashboard, so I’m going to select to open a document from my computer. I’m going
to choose the DocuPub Platfom Data Sheet. And click on the upload button to start uploading
the document. On the screen it shows you the document is loading, its going to wait till
it finished loading. It loaded up already. Now click on the share button to share out
the document. Over here you see Embed in a blog or web page and create embed code. And
its going to warn you that it’s gonna be a public document. That’s fine. Click OK. And as you can see there, there’s a little
bit of text in here. Click on the text, and it will select the whole bit of text for you.
You want to copy and paste this. This is the code that you will be putting on your blog
so you want to copy it. Now I’m going to go to my blog. In this case it’s WordPress. I’m
just going to sign myself in. Then add a new post. I’m just going to put in the post test
name. Here I want to select HTML because I have a little HTML text I want to add. Here
you see the text that you saw earlier. Type in a little bit of text. And I’m going to
paste in the text I got earlier. Now click on the Preview button to preview in the blog.
Oops, looks like I hadn’t set up my blog as registered with my particular key. So what
I’m gonna do is add blog.vuzit.com to my list of registered websites. So I’ll go ahead and
copy that. Now I’m going to go back to the Vuzit dashboard and click on settings. Then
I’m going to click on Websites, and then I’m going to add the new blog website by pasting
it in this, click add site. And now my website has been added so I’m going to go back to
the web page and reload the page. And there you go. There is the document embedded in
your blog. It’s just that easy. As you can see the scroll bars are missing over here.
So what I’m going to do is make the document a little bit smaller so it fits better. So
I’ll go back to the post. And as we can see in the code that we have, a width and a height.
In this case its 600 pixels. I’m gonna make that 500 pixels so it fits better. And the
height, I’m gonna make it a little bigger so it fits more. I’ll make it 500 as well.
Then I’ll click on preview. And there you go. Now the blog post fits in perfectly. The
whole page gets loaded and I can view the whole page. Thank you very much for viewing
this demo. I hope it was useful for you. Thank you very much. Bye.
