How To Embed An Instagram Post On Your Blog

Want to learn how to embed an
Instagram pic in your blog? Well, I have a hashtag
SueB tip for you. [MUSIC PLAYING] If you’re running
a business online, then hopefully you
have a website. And in many cases, you have
a blog on your website. In the last year, we’ve
really made an effort to improve our blog
content, and that includes adding Instagram
photos when appropriate. So when I get a chance to link
someone’s Instagram account, I like to include an image that
people can directly click on. As you can see here
in this blog post, we added six different images. And people respond to us
and let us know via email that they really
love when we do this, because it makes it really
easy for them to click in and check them out. So you can do this
on your own blog, and I’m going to tell you the
step by step process on how to do that. You want to sign in to
Instagram on the desktop, and click on the photo that
you want to share on the blog. Once you click in,
at the bottom right, you’ll see these
three little dots. Click in, and you want
to grab the embed code. You want to make sure that
you uncheck include caption. You want to copy the embed code. Bring it on over to
your WordPress website. Click on blog. Click on Add New. Make sure that you
toggle over to the text, and then paste the
embed code right there. You can save it in drafts. Sometimes this takes
a little while. And then you can preview the
post right on your website. It is that easy. You can now visually show
any photo from Instagram on your account. And always remember,
if you’re going to be linking to any
account other than your own, give explicit credit
to the content creator. Did you like this video? Please leave a comment below. Pretty please. I love reading the comments. And be sure to download my free

  1. I'll be using this tip. I have a bunch of Athabascan Words of the Day on Instagram and would love to post some of them on one page. Thank you!

  2. Hmmm… I'd never thought of adding instagram images to my blog. When you are embedding someone else's content, doesn't it automatically give them attribution because people can click the image and go to their instagram page?

  3. Yes, loved it…thank you. I will have to spice up my next blog post with one of my posts or someone else's. Maybe yours? : )

  4. Wow. I so wish I knew this a long time ago. Thank you so, so much for sharing this video. That sounds like a great way to build relationships with others on Instagram as you share their photos too. Plus, I can see how this would help build social proof, as readers can see how many likes and comments you have received on your Instagram post. Brilliant idea Sue. Thank you for sharing. – Marcie

  6. Hello Sue, thanks for the video. When I try to embed multiple images from instagram they seem to come unstuck from the post, they overlap my blog footer and cover the body text. I can't figure out why or how to fix it, any ideas?
