They just … well, they will move faster than others to learn, because they have already seen it once or several times. But often they do not know. They are still in the learning phase. Remember, I told you about the four stages of learning. Well, these people are in the third stage. That is to say they are in … in conscious competence. That is to say that they are competent, they know how to … it is not they know how … yes, they do not even know, not even … I say nonsense. They were in step “consciously competent”. Okay ? But they did not continue, Remember perseverance they continued not to get in step: “Unconsciously competent”. And as long as you are in this stage: “unconsciously competent” you can not say that you know your Kata. This means that instead of the beginning of the Kata you go from the end. That is to say that you will cut your Kata into small pieces. Apart from three or four movements that are easy to learn. You will work a bit like Kihon. And you’ll start with the last piece. For example, if I take: Heian Shodan. Well, Heian Shodan: I’m at the end, at the very end. And I do: one, two, three, four. They come out of the course and they know their Kata. Except that they do not work behind, they’ll forget it. So how do after, not to forget? Above all, you must: repeat, repeat, repeat, re-repeat, re-repeat. Master Funakoshi in his book “Karate-do, my way, my life” he explains that every day, he would make his Kata. A kata Heian Shodan as such, it takes 45 seconds. A kata Heian Godan as it is about the same. Tekki Shodan, it should be even less. So this kind of Kata there, in the end, it will take you: one minute a day to make your Kata. We do not ask you, I do not ask you to do it thoroughly. I ask you not to put the potatoes, to put it all. Here the purpose is to remember gestures, embusen to retain and remember gestures. You do it for 66 days and at the end of 66 days what’s going to happen ?   1. Super vidéo, très bien expliquer même si je ne pratique plus le shotokan, mais passé au Taekwondo, les katas comme les poomsés son très important.

  4. Dommage qu'il parle trop pour répété les mêmes choses l'exemple , il faut forger pour être forgeron donc répété les gestes avec insistance
