HOW ABOUT MORE TIME FOR ME — MAKING NEW ONES. HOW ABOUT MORE TIME FOR ME? SARAH: THAT SOUNDS GOOD. WHEN WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THE SHOW, WE WERE KIND OF LIKE, ME TIME? THAT YOU POP IN THE MICROWAVE AND PUT IT ON YOUR NECK. YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING FOR YOUR BODY. TERESA: AND THESE ARE VERY USEFUL. GUEST: MY SISTER TALKED ME INTO GETTING SOME STUFF TO WORK OUT AT HOME BECAUSE I SAID I NEVER HAVE TIME TO WORK OUT. SHE’S LIKE, DO IT WHEN THE KIDS ARE WATCHING TV. DO SOMETHING WHERE THEY CAN JOIN IN. THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT RESISTANCES, SO YOU HAVE A LIGHTER ONE ANYMORE DIFFICULT. YOU PUT THEM ON YOUR LEG INTO SQUATS. THIS IS LIKE A WEIGHTED JUMP ROPE. GUEST: I’VE NEVER HAD A HEATED BLANKET, AND I FEEL LIKE THIS IS TAKING CARE OF YOU BECAUSE YOU’RE GETTING MORE COZY THAN JUST SITTING ON THE COUCH. I THINK EVERYONE COULD SPOIL THEMSELVES TO MAKE HIMSELF FEEL GOOD. THAT IS WHAT SELF-CARE IS ABOUT, MAKING YOURSELF FEEL GOOD. YOU CAN KIND OF WRITE DOWN SOME THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD, AND THEN DO A TEST RUN AND SEE IF YOU ACTUALLY DO THEM DURING THE WEEK. YOU CAN DO ONE FOR A MONTH. TERESA: EVERY DAY YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO TRY AND DO SOMETHING? GUEST: WELL, YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING, EVEN IF IT IS FIVE MINUTES. TERESA: LIKE HAVE A COKE. SARAH: THAT’S WHAT WE DO. TERESA: THIS IS A NEW TAKE ON WHY THE FANNY PACK IS USEFUL. GUEST: RIGHT. SO, YOU NEED TO GRAB THE KIDS AT CLASS OR SOMETHING. ONE OF MY GOALS IS TO GET OUTSIDE EVERY DAY, BUT I’M THINKING, WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT MY PHONE OR MY KEYS? SO YOU JUST PUT EVERY THING IN THERE. TERESA: THAT WAY YOU DON’T HAVE A GIANT BAG EVERYWHERE YOU GO. GUEST: THIS IS JUST A BOOK TO READ, BUT THESE ARE GOOD THINGS TO, NOT BEAUTY RELATED OR HEALTH-RELATED RELATED, THIS IS JUST FOR YOUR MIND. WRITING SOMETHING DOWN A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR DAY.
