Because it works, relatively. It is like a personal assistant in a notebook Please do not browse Pinterest or Instagram, ’cause there are a lot of people who complicate their life who add a ton of drawings colours, paterns, symbols, and…it’s useless ! It is scary and ugly and once again you can be overwhelmed whereas the goal is to simplify your life and not to have time-consuming hobby who stifles your life. It is a very basic and simple system you can customize as you want. You’ll need a notebook even if you have already used ten pages of it for your secret diary and you never finished it, just turn the page and begin your bullet journal here. You do not need a new notebook but you’ll need, a pen, a pencil or a felt pen That’s all. For me, I specially bought a notebook it is a Leuchtturm1917 A5, dotted. I hardly used half of it It is likely to last two years. I use a stamp to date the pages, when I need But it’s ok if you do not have it So, let’s see the month before For example: This past month of August These pages are the very first of the month; on your left, the calendar with days and dates when I began, it was very simple. I do not write each appointments because I am still using iCal This part is my personal view and is not in the basic version of the BJ. Some people create habits trackers for example, I do track meditation practicing, veganism, nap, if I disconnect from the Internet, practice yoga, pooped, read, had a shower or worked. Back to the habits tracker of September, we can see that I didn’t read that much, but I did ate vegan and practiced meditation every day and yoga a lot. Here, on July I did not added a coloured-system, it is very new actually. So, a month on two pages, and then, diary pages. Here are the to do list of the day I usually fulfill the day before It is not an obligatory stage to do it every day. On Sunday, for example, I can write everything I need to do on monday. I write the date and during the day, I can add things, and I tick the line when I did yoga. When it is a dot, it is a to do event, and when it is done, I tick it and when it is rescheduled to the day after, I write an arrow. I did the shooting sheet before filming, I am shooting. Yesterday, i.e., I wanted to sort my clothes out, but I didn’t do it so I put an arrow and add this task here It is pretty hard to explain the circle is an appointment, it is scheduled Two pages insight of the month at a glance, then to do list of the day. Do not keep blank pages to write your lists.. Always follow the pages in order. When I have ideas to shoot videos, I’ve got like 3 pages, every time, I write the numbers of the pages down them. here, ‘shooting ideas’ and 8th page, ‘shooting ideas’ Here, ‘what I need to buy for the house’, well, I need a new shower curtain, coat hangers, restaurants to go to.

Here… rain. For August, I added ‘the best of August’ where I wrote two things I was grateful for. Gratitude and positive-minded. Little things I tend ti forget, but don’t want to. What makes me smile: ‘almost succeed a braid, I hugged Clément, my video about Yohann Diniz online, while yoga, I saw the sky and I smiled. I wanted to see Avril, sent her a text but she wasn’t free, I ate a yummy pizza, Troot (her dog) came on my belly…’ It is like a therapy. But all of that is not forced, these are adds I like. I’ve added weeks Almost like month pages, but for the weeks. To have an insight of them with the tasks… I am not very satisfied with how it looks, it is not very clear, but it helps me to see what comes next. Some people write their meals. To me, the essential, is to make month pages, with a glance of the month, the appointments, and the tasks. Option : adding trackers: meditation, sport, … all the habits you try to do. Then, day pages. Before I began this journal, I had lists on paper sheets but I always lost them. And it wasn’t useful.
Do not try and do 10 millions tasks in a day, it is to much. For me, it is only a precious help assistant because I have got so much in my head, I need to organize… What I have to do, work ideas, people who wait for me to answer to their requests, self caring, grocery shopping, It is flooding in my head so, helps me to see exactly what I need to do. It helps a lot. And during my day, when I think I do not do what I should do, but I do not know what I should do I just read the bullet journal and if I see tasks I choose the one I want to do, then, I tick the line, ‘it wasn’t that hard, what’s next?’, and so on… At the end of the day, I am satisfied.
