Hey, welcome back. This is blog post six on our house hacking journey. So, we’ve been out looking at houses. It’s pretty exciting. We found one we really like. So, it’s a duplex. Each side is three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms. It’s a split level. One side is occupied. It has a tenant in there that’s been there for about eight years. And they’re pretty much at market rent. The other side, when we walked in and toured through it, is in very good shape. So, it’s got new carpet. It’s been painted. Each side has a garage. So, that’s pretty cool. It backs to a green space, which is actually a cemetery. That’s a little weird, but never have to – we don’t have to worry about neighbors other than ghosts behind this. And then to the west of the property, there is a green space as well. So, we walked through it. We really liked it. It’s on a quiet street. It’s also very close to major employers. It has great access to the highway to get down into the metro area. You can get there quickly, depending on traffic. And it’s close to schools and everything. We liked everything about it. It’s right in the sweet spot of our price range. It would bring our – our housing costs up a little from what they’re at now. But we can live with that cause the property is in such good condition. And there’s a really good renter. And we also think that we would be able to rent it out quickly when we move out. So, again, there’s a lot of pluses and positive things when it comes to this property. So, we’re going to go ahead and write an offer on it. And – in the next post, I will let you know what our offer strategy is going to be, and – let you know the outcome of it. All right. Stay tuned. We’ll talk to you soon.
