this past week of Great Falls public schools Club was recognized as the best in the state at what they do I’m proud to say that I’m in newspaper the student newspaper at cm Russell High School in Great Falls was named by the University of Montana’s a journalism program as the top high school newspaper in the state the CMR Stampede was given the pace that our award by U of M faculty CMRS a journalism program was also recognized as the top online web site in the state winning awards for writing photography and advertising journalism advisor Beth Britain has taught same AR for 16 years and she says that her group consistently measures up at the state level her students say the commitment of their advisor is infectious and that she is a big part of their success Burton says she knows programs like hers are being cut around the country but that teaching kids how to tell stories comes with more benefits than meets the eye what I do hope that they take away are just all these great skills and the ability to think and think creatively and and question what is what is real you can find the online version of CMRS newspaper by visiting
